- THE INTERNATIONAL PATTERN & ITS ANOMALIES -

-29-

China  has many card manufacturers and their role is becoming more and more international. In the past the quality of Chinese cards wasn't that good, but nowadays it's improving and with the use of new techniques and low costs Chinese manufacturers produce many decks for export orders too.
The following deck isn't one of them. It was made for the Chinese market and shows a pattern, close to the international one, but with Chinese faces on the courts. The Queens still hold their flowers, but other attributes have been replaced by Chinese ones.

The deck was produced by Zhejang Wanshengda Industrie Co. and published as Double K around 2000. Our deck consists of 52 cards; it lacks the 2(?) jokers.
