- THE INTERNATIONAL PATTERN & ITS ANOMALIES -

-18-

All the previous decks came from our collection of American decks, so we move on to Australia. We only have a small collection of decks that were made in Australia. Still the next 3 decks fit in this xpo very well.
The first one shows tribal people from Papua New Guinea. Basically the design is very close: the attributes are there, although adapted, but all the Queens hold a flower. The suicide king and one-eyed jack are recognizable and the center design has its colorful pattern, this time based on the regional garments in Papua New Guinea.

The "Papua New Guinea"  deck was published by Robert Brown & Assoc.
It was designed by Graeme Ross. The deck consists of 52 cards and 2 jokers.
