Well,
better late than never...… today's lockdown deck comes from the UK. It was
printed by Waddington and published by the Scandinavian American Line from
Copenhagen, Denmark. I've tried to find information about this deck, but it
wasn't in any of the books that we had here and I haven't been able to narrow
down the dating any further than sometime between 1923 and 1935.

Ken
Lodge tells (2017, pp. 221-2) the pack also was printed with non-advertising
decorative backs (by William Barribal) and the same Danish or German corner
indices; he dates it from circa 1925. I really feel those court designs may well
have attended and satisfied then prevalent Scandinavian tastes. Still according
to his book, the ace of spades you show has been used until 1928.
