this lockdown series I try to avoid showing decks that are already shown on my
DXPO site. Today's deck comes very close to our Deck of the Month from January
2012, but as always...… the devil is in the details! The deck is known as the
"Third Latvian Playing Cards", meaning that it was the 3rd deck
produced in Latvia. It was designed by Reinholds Kasparsons and was first
published in 1932 as "Highest Quality Playing Cards No. 1". However,
this deck here comes from a later edition of No 1 from 1940/41, when Latvia was
occupied by the Russians. I'll show 3 more apparent differences here, but for
