The
deck is not shown in Ali's wonderful book about the cards from the Nordic
countries and Paul Symons only refers to it in the Wüst catalogue that he
compiled with Martin Shaw. When in lockdown you have plenty of time to look in
some books.
So for my lockdown series, a deck that was printed in colour lithography by C.L.
Wüst and published by S. Salomon & Co. from Copenhagen around 1910. The
pattern is known as Salomon pattern B.
The name of Salomon is prominently on the JD. For the indication that Wüst has
produced this deck there's just that typical Wüst number on the JC.
Sadly the deck is not in perfect condition, I wish I had a better one.
