Today we're going to read the cards. No fortune telling, but in 1906 the USPCC printed and published a deck with 12 short comic book stories with the adventures of Buster Brown and his dog Tige. Each suit has 2 stories of 4 cards and one of 5 cards. Before playing cards I have collected comic books for a long time, so when I first heard of this deck my interest was aroused and already in February 1999 I managed to buy a deck. The Buster Brown character was created by Richard F. Outcault in 1902 and within a few years became so popular that the USPCC decided to publish this Buster Brown deck. Probably aimed at children, as the cards are in patience size, but they can still bring a smile to a grown man's face too.
