April 10
Today's deck is the latest acquisition. It arrived on the 8th, together with a Dondorf patience version of the Hauptstädte deck. With a size of 44 x 72 mm this deck is also a sort of patience. It was printed and published by (Carl) Titze & Schinkay from Vienna around 1890. The Austrian tax stamp was in use between 1882 and 1899. I already had the pattern, but it was by Piatnik, who had continued the pattern since 1898. Apparently the factory numbers of both editions are not known, as the WWPCM site describes them as "patience" only. The pattern isn't shown on the WOPC site and isn't in the Cary books or the Fournier catalogue.
