Yesterday a modern way of portraying royalty, today the old school way.
The deck was printed by Goodall & Son from London and published in 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria’s reign. Her portrait is on the backs. It’s obviously a luxury deck, with fine chromolithographic printing and solid gold edges. Fine portraits of English royalty throughout the centuries on the courts and a beautiful set of aces.
