Very
late, so quickly now today's lockdown deck. It's a modern French deck, that I
have only seen once and that was when I traded it for a quartet game with a
wellknown Dutch quartets collector in 2007. Never seen it before or afterwards.
It's a private edition of 1000 copies by the artist, P. Joux. The 32 cards deck
was printed by Scanplus from Aix-en-Provence and published in 1996/97 as
"Louis XV", but has "Guerres et Dentelles" as sub-title. The
info about printer, number of edition and year came from the artist. He had his
phonenumber printed on one of the sides and I callled him. His French was a bit
difficult to understand, so I hope I got it all right then.
