April 22
Those
collectors who have visited my DXPO site may have seen this deck there, but
because it's one of those 100 decks that I would bring to my deserted island,
I'm going to share it here with you in my lockdown series.
The
deck came in a set of 2 different ones. The other deck has completely different
designs, in b/w and looking a bit like woodblock prints. Still they were
published in Denmark in 1955 as a set to commemorate the 150th birthday of Hans
Christian Andersen. The deck was printed by Handa from Copenhagen.
Well,
to get you through another hour in lockdown: can you name the fairy tales, of
which each card shows a scene?
