April 20

The weekend is over, time to get serious again. No smiling faces on the courts of today's lockdown deck. The deck was printed by Ferdinand Piatnik & Sons from Vienna and published by Perry (department stores) as "Perry's Speelkaarten" in the Netherlands around 1930. It also says "205" on the box, but that could be the Piatnik factory number. There are views of 7 different Dutch cities on the aces. The name of the publisher is in the middle of the ace of Hearts. The courts -with Dutch indices- have a not often seen fantasy pattern with remarkable Kings: they all have very long beards. I haven't seen this pattern in other Piatnik decks.
