April 3

Today's "lockdown deck" was printed by Thomas De La Rue from London. It's a 52 cards deck and is known as Continental Style 2. It was De La Rue's the second attempt to produce a more European style luxury deck. The first attempt was produced in 1868 and this second deck is usually dated 1870.

To see the Continental Style 1 deck, it was our Deck of the Month in November 2012: http://www.dxpo-playingcards.com///pages/deck-month-12.htm
and press 11.
