EXAMPLES OF THE DIFFERENT FACTORY MARKINGS AND VARIATIONS
in FORTUNA decks

(in decks with a set of castle aces the SN name is always printed in full on each ace)

A Fortuna deck, published by the Royal Dutch Lloyd, with only the name as above on all courts in the diamond suit. Comes with a set of Dutch cities aces and factory joker #3 with horseshoes.

A Fortuna deck, published by the N.S.M. (Steamship Company Netherland), with the name on all courts in the diamond suit and company logo #2 on the king of hearts. Special aces with different ports on N.S.M. routes. Not shown is the ape joker with horseshoes, which accompanies this and the following deck.

Also published by the N.S.M. with the same set of aces, here with company logo #3. The company name is printed on all the courts in the diamond suit, but there's a number printed twice on the jack of hearts. Still a mystery, could be an encrypted date (8 1925) or a deck number or.......

Again a number, but a different one, on the jack of hearts. Logo # 3 on the king of diamonds, company name on all courts in the diamond suit.

Amstel version, with company logo # 3 on the queen of hearts and a new name on the king of diamonds.
Comes with a set of castle aces.
