This deck was published as "Arabian Nights" by the Akay Playing Cards Co. from Bombay, India, around 1982 (according to La Sota 22/23) or in 1986 (according to the Braun catalogue about the Bielefelder Spielkartenfabrik). The designs should look familiar to those who have visited our Pin-Up's & Erotica Xpo last month. It's a remake of an older German pin-up deck, that was first published in 1955 as "Darling". If you're interested in a comparison between that deck and this Indian version, there's an article (titled "An Indian Copy") about both decks in the "Variations" xpo.

The deck consists of 52 cards, 2 jokers and 1 extra card.
