TARANTELLA

The cards were printed by SN in 1939. The game is played with 6 decks of 52 cards each, measuring 51 x 78 mm.
Published by Querido/Penco (Perry & Co).

Each deck consists of 4 series, numbered 1 - 9, and 16 ten cards. The series have different colours (yellow, green, red and black) and the number of dots on the cards matches the denomination. Tarantella is a variation of the game of Baccarat.

The game was demonstrated for the first time in the department stores of the Bijenkorf and Perry, according to the weekly magazine "Het Leven" of November 11th 1939.

The Tarantella game comes with a card-shoe and is played on a gameboard, as shown in the picture that is on the toplid of the box of the game.
