Fashionable Decks with a Fragrance

For this deck we didn't have to go to Amsterdam. We found
it on Ebay. Normally the large deck is sold for 91 euro at the Hermès store,
but we managed to get it for 2/3 of that price, shipment from France included.
It was new and still in cellophane. And when we opened the deck there was not
only the raccoon on the 2 of Hearts, but there were 3 hares, a mosquito, a toad,
a starfish, a jellyfish and a thornback on other pips. Not only do the animals seem to be chosen
randomly, also the cards they are on don't reveal a pattern or idea. But by the
way, in which they are designed and placed, they do bring a little depth into the
complete image.
The designs of the courts and aces are exactly the same as of
those in the small deck. The 4 of Hearts here below is shown at real size. The
other cards have been made smaller here.
