This deck was also published ca. 1890 to promote the Hard A Port Cut Plug tobacco brand. There were 3 different editions; one with a brown back and two with a blue back. One of the latter doesn't have the brand name on the face cards. It's considered to be the rarest version. The deck on xpo here is catalogued in the Hochman Encyclopedia as 113.
