They say it's human to want things to be bigger and better. Well, today's deck proofs that I'm only human. It's a Skat version of the Sport deck by the Badische Spielkartenfabrik from Lahr in 1947 and it's in poor condition. So I still hope to find the 53 cards version, because it has a great joker, and then of course in much better condition.
I guess that the cards have been in a moistly environment, as the back pattern has left faint marks on the front of the courts. The weird thing is that the pip cards don't have that.
