Today's deck is a modern one again. Not 21st century modern, but from 1975. I came across it when I was putting back the stack of sheets from last months' lockdown decks in the different holders. It took me about an hour. The deck was designed by Raymond Gid, his signature is on the QH. The swiftly drawn designs suggest elegance and motion. Printed by J.M. Simon and published by B.P. Grimaud for Bally, a French chain of shoe shops. The deck has 52 cards, 2 jokers, a title card and a bridge scorecard.
