It seems that during the lockdown and curfew people tend to drink more alcohol than usual. So what's next? A new Prohibition Act? Today's lockdown deck was published to support the opposition against the Prohibition Act in the US almost 90 years. The Royal Revelers deck was printed by Brown and Bigelow in 1932. The ban on alcohol in the US was lifted a year later. If the deck didn't help, then at least it shows us that drinking alcohol can be fun too. The joker represents Mr. Bluenose, the censor. I guess he got his name as opposite to Mr. Rednose, who is presented in different stages on the courts.
