For
today I have chosen a modern deck, that had been on our wish list from the
moment that we seriously started collecting. But not for long. So it was already
tucked away in our collection when we created the DXPO site. Now’s a good time
to correct that omission.
The deck was printed by Ducale, a brand by J.M. Simon from Nancy (France), and
published as “Bolero” in 1957. The timeless, elegant designs in red and
black are alive and full of motion. They were done by J.L. Jolin. The deck
consists of 52 cards, 2 jokers and a title card.
