In 1930 this deck was first mentioned in the price guide of B. Dondorf as Nr. 465 "Jägerkarte" (Hunters Cards). Braun also mentions that it is likely that the preparations for this deck must have been done some time earlier. And I would agree. He probably hints to the fact that in 1930 Dondorf had already been taken over by Flemming & Wiskott, while the quality of the chromolithographic printing is still Dondorf worthy. The deck consists of 36 cards. All the pips cards have a small illustration in b/w.
Although this deck is among my fav top 10 Dondorf decks, I haven't shown it on my site yet. Well, this lockdown series is a nice stepping stone to get there.
