Now that all the similar cards have been shown, it has become apparent that the differences are often found in the details. On some cards these differences are minimal, on others they are more obvious. See the 10 of clubs here above. As said, some of the differences can be explained by the used technique. The original designs of our deck were done in water color, those from the Cotta deck were printed from fine pointed cupper etchings. This etching technique is much better equipped for rendering fine details than painting in water colors. Hence the simplification of the arches on the 9 of clubs.
